This level of confusion is incredibly strange and disconcerting. However, despite all efforts, the hotel staff seemed to be the only ones confused about the entire situation. I even contacted Expedia, who reached out to the hotel on my behalf. I took the initiative to speak with one of the front desk employees who confirmed that I had never used any of the hotel facilities.

The overall attitude and professionalism of the staff were severely lacking, which is particularly disappointing for a Marriott property.

It is baffling how such a glaring error could occur within their management system. To make matters worse, I discovered that the hotel claimed I had checked out on a date when I wasn't even on the island. This lack of assistance was highly inconvenient and unexpected. In fact, I was confined to the front desk area, unable to explore any other parts of the hotel. Not only was I never given a room key, but I wasn't even shown where my room was located. The level of service I received was utterly unacceptable, leaving me with no choice but to share my experience and warn other travelers.įrom the moment I arrived, it was clear that something was amiss. Marriott has had a good reputation with me I've stayed in different hotels in different States and countries but this one gets gets a 1 and a thumbs down for me the period the bar restaurant staff was amazing though great personalities the food was OK. Should be clean or carpets should be air conditioning they need to change the tub which was disgusting. No consistency of assistance when I call for towels 8 o'clock in the morning and again at 8 o'clock at night and did not get them to the next day. Travel staff At the front lobby set my family up for a scam A-day on the water just skiing in other events turned into my knees getting her leg gashed by the old ladder on the boat where she had to go to the emergency room which tried to scan us out of more money ending up having to call the girl that works for the hotel travel section and the guy who is afraid of hers to get our money back. Linens were worn did not fit the bed towels dingy and old. No air conditioning throughout the hotel.
